Developer Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Velora Developer Platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Developer Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Developer Account

To use the Platform, you must have a Velora account in good standing. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to:

  • Keep your API keys and secrets secure
  • Not share your credentials with unauthorized parties
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Use the API only for lawful purposes

3. API Usage

You may use the Velora API to build applications that integrate with our platform. Your use of the API is subject to the following restrictions:

  • Respect rate limits and usage quotas
  • Do not attempt to circumvent security measures
  • Do not use the API to spam, harass, or abuse users
  • Do not collect user data beyond what is necessary for your application
  • Do not redistribute or resell API access

4. User Data and Privacy

When your application accesses user data through our API, you must:

  • Only request permissions that are necessary for your application
  • Clearly disclose what data you collect and how you use it
  • Provide users with a way to delete their data from your application
  • Comply with all applicable privacy laws and regulations
  • Not sell or share user data with third parties without consent

5. Branding and Attribution

When using the Velora name, logo, or other brand assets in your application, you must follow our brand guidelines. You may not imply endorsement by Velora without prior written approval.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your API access at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, you must immediately stop using the API and delete any cached data obtained through it.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Developer Dashboard. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
